Ann Copestake

Biography:
Ann Copestake studied at the University of Cambridge, and then worked in Cambridge while completing her DPhil at Sussex, before becoming a Senior Research Engineer at the Centre for the Study of Language and Information (CSLI) at Stanford University. Her research concerns the development of computational models of aspects of human languages. She returned to Cambridge in 2000, where she is now Professor of Computational Linguistics and Head of the Department of Computer Science and Technology.
